Alexander War Memorial Restoration Project Bloomington Indiana

I was the digital sculptor for a large veterans memorial restoration project in Monroe County, Indiana that had been severely damaged by weather and improper cleaning solutions in the 1980's. Using 3D scans and old photographs I digitally sculpted/rebuilt/repaired seven 5 ft tall pieces(each representing a different war) so that they, as close as possible, resembled the original pieces. The 7 pieces(three curved panels and 4 flat panels) were then split up between multiple limestone companies that fabricated and hand-finished them. The original panels were then removed, replaced, and stored for historic purposes. The rededication ceremony for the memorial was held on July 4th, 2022.
